Almighty God, whose blessed Son endured temptation of the devil to lead the way of salvation: Be present to us, and do not withhold your mercy from us that we might always cling to you; Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
